The five passes

The mineral surface is the cap sheet's UV protection. Where it has worn away — usually at laps and traffic routes — the material underneath is ageing faster than the rest of the roof.

Warehouse roofs collect foot traffic around plant and equipment. Walkway protection is cheap compared with repairing the damage traffic causes.
