These website terms are provided by Jacob Roofing & Exteriors (Jacob, we, us). They describe permitted use of this site and the limits of its information and tools. Browsing is not consent to unrelated data processing or marketing. The Privacy Policy explains information handling; permissions required for a particular feature are requested at that feature.

2. Information, not a property diagnosis

Roofing guides, material descriptions, illustrations and municipal information are general educational material. They cannot establish concealed conditions, structural adequacy, a permit decision, product availability or suitability for your property. Confirm current requirements with the relevant authority and obtain an appropriate site-specific assessment.

Content is not legal, engineering, financial or insurance coverage advice. An insurance carrier decides coverage under the applicable policy. Nothing here promises claim approval, a payment amount or waiver of an insurance deductible. Do not use a website image to decide that a roof is safe to access.

3. Requests, availability and emergencies

An inquiry, uploaded photograph, automated acknowledgment or Roof Studio result is not a confirmed appointment, binding quote, authorization to begin work or construction contract. The relevant property, availability, scope and any charges must be confirmed separately. A page naming a city or service does not guarantee every address, product or requested time can be accommodated.

The website is not an emergency dispatch service and does not promise twenty-four-hour monitoring, immediate attendance or a particular response time. For immediate danger to people, call 911. Avoid unsafe structures, electrical hazards and roof access. Do not wait for a website reply when urgent safety assistance is needed.

4. Work, pricing, cancellation and warranties

A separate written agreement should identify the contracting parties, property, scope, price, payment schedule, timing, changes and applicable cancellation and warranty provisions before work is authorized. These website terms do not set a deposit, cancellation fee, financing offer, workmanship warranty or material warranty.

An advertised inspection or assessment must be read with its stated scope, availability and any charge; do not assume it is free unless that specific offer expressly says so. Manufacturer warranties depend on the actual product and their written conditions. Nothing in these terms limits any cancellation, warranty or other consumer right that applicable law does not allow to be waived.

5. Roof Studio and AI appearance previews

Where available, Roof Studio creates an AI-generated appearance concept from a submitted photograph and selected appearance family. It can make mistakes in geometry, objects, material texture, color, lighting or scale. Check the result against your original photograph. It is not a construction drawing, measurement, product specification, damage assessment or promise of the finished installation.

Displayed colors are approximate and depend on the photograph, lighting and screen. A selected appearance does not establish manufacturer availability, code compliance, wind or impact rating, structural capacity, cost, warranty or suitability. Confirm choices against actual samples and a property-specific scope before ordering work.

Only upload material you own or have permission to use and authority to submit. You retain your rights in the original photograph. You give Jacob and the service providers used for the requested function limited, nonexclusive permission to host, process and modify the image, display the result privately, and use it in responding to your requested assessment. This is not permission to publish your home in advertising; that requires separate permission.

Do not upload personal documents, illegal material or photographs that invade another person's privacy. Keep people and sensitive details out of the image. Do not bypass verification, access another person's project or evade reasonable usage limits. Tool availability, attempt limits and errors are explained in the interface. A refused concept is not an approved result. No production image provider is active in this version.

6. Permitted use and content rights

You may browse, link to pages, and save or print material for personal evaluation or discussion with an adviser, subject to applicable law and any third-party rights. Site material may be owned by Jacob, used with permission, or otherwise lawfully available; these terms do not assert exclusive copyright in every AI-generated element.

Do not misrepresent illustrative imagery or a sample report as a completed Jacob project or an assessment of your property. Do not impersonate another person, submit malicious code or spam, access private records without permission, evade access controls, or materially disrupt the service. These conditions do not prohibit lawful criticism, honest consumer reviews or uses protected by law.

7. Third-party resources

Links to government agencies, manufacturers and other resources are provided for context. Their content, services and privacy practices are controlled by those operators. A link does not create an affiliation, endorsement, certification or warranty by Jacob.

8. Availability, accuracy and legal rights

We may correct, update or withdraw website content and features. The site can be interrupted or contain errors; do not rely on it as the sole basis for a safety, insurance, engineering or purchasing decision. Contact Jacob to resolve an inconsistency before relying on a proposed scope or offer.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, general website information and appearance tools are provided without a promise of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular project. This is not a disclaimer of obligations under an actual work agreement, a defense for misleading statements, or a waiver of liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, shortened claim deadline or restriction on truthful reviews.

9. Applicable law and updates

Texas law applies to these website terms to the extent permitted by law, without depriving you of mandatory protections that apply where you live. No exclusive court venue is selected here. A separate work agreement may contain separately agreed provisions, subject to applicable law.

Updates will carry a revised date. Changes do not retroactively alter a signed work agreement or supply consent for a new use of personal information. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions apply only to the extent permitted by law.
